ARA’s SERVICE program sponsored Odyssey.ai, an all-girls team from Boyds, MD, in the 2024-2025 FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics competition. The team, making their debut in the FTC, gained valuable hands-on experience in mechanical design, electronics, programming, and teamwork. With help from mentors and coaches, the team designed, built, and programmed a robot and competed in this year’s FTC Virginia Beach Qualifiers and Mountain MD Qualifiers. This valuable experience strengthened their technical skills and passion for STEM.
The ARA SERVICE program community fund has been designed with ARA’s core value of service in mind. Under this program, ARA aims to inspire and motivate students to pursue STEM education and careers.
