ARA’s Acoustic Laboratory, housed at ARA’s Littleton, Colorado location, has 6,000 square feet of lab space with dedicated space for the testing and evaluation of hearing protection devices (HPDs) and communication equipment.

ARA’s Geotechnical Laboratory delivers advanced testing and characterization of geo-materials including soil, rock, and concrete, as well as engineered materials like foams and simulants.

ARA produces robotic platforms and related technologies, sensors, geo-environmental equipment, pavement testing machines, and other specialized hardware at our Vermont facility under an ISO 9001:2015 certification.

ARA’s Littleton, Colorado facility is the base for our mobile shock tube. The shock tube is housed inside a 50-ft trailer, allowing it to be easily transported to any research facility to provide on-site test services.

ARA’s Optics Laboratory, housed at ARA’s Littleton, Colorado location, houses an 800-square-ft. laser/optics lab for the development of new technical capabilities for optical and laser-material interaction concepts.
