New Versions of DCMS and WINGARD PE Software Now Available

Designed for glazing and blast specialists, WINGARD PE provides an accurate analytical model of window response to the effects of an explosion. The program accepts user input of window system properties and explosion characteristics, and then calculates the performance of the window system when subjected to defined blast loads.
The latest version of WINGARD PE, version 6.1, offers several updates that enhances functionality, including improving the user interface, the license management process, the output summary for models with multiple end reactions, and more.

ARA also recently upgraded its DCMS software that assists engineers in the analysis and design of building structures – walls, roofs, frames, window frames, and more – subjected to dynamic loads with a focus on blast analysis.
DCMS includes a range of built-in modeling tools allowing engineers to quickly develop and evaluate a wide range of structural building components.
The latest release, version 5.2, features new and improved abilities including: an added ability to save plots as CSV format in addition to DPLOT, an improved output summary for models with multiple end reactions, a cleaned up group and category interaction with report appendix generator, and improved license management.
