Instructional Systems Design (ISD)

We use a multi-step training development process, a marriage of the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) model and good project management practices, to create training solutions that improve job performance, enhance training efficiencies, and reduce your training costs. Our professional staff has extensive instructional systems and graphic design experience working with both government and commercial clients. As needed, we include cognitive scientists during program design to ensure our training programs effectively build skills through simulated “experiences” that have the feel of reality.
We have the people, facilities, equipment, and know-how to produce complete training packages using the latest technologies. This includes a full service, broadcast-quality multimedia pre-production, production, and post-production facility with the capability to:- capture high-quality, full-motion, digital video,
- create computer generated 2- and 3-D graphics,
- edit nonlinear digital video and audio, and
- master CD-ROMs and DVDs.
As dictated by our customers’ needs and our training analysis process, we use a variety of delivery methods, including e-learning formats and instructor-led/facilitated classroom instruction. Examples of our diverse delivery methods include computer-based training, web-based training, distance learning, blended learning, game based learning, and computer-assisted exercise simulation. Our E-learning options include asynchronous modes consisting of:
- self-paced courses taken via Internet or CD-ROM / DVD,
- web presentations, gaming and simulations,
- videotaped classes, streamed audio/video presentations, as well as,
- Q&A mentoring, online chats, discussion groups, and e-mail.
By combining these delivery methods with other technologies, we create blended learning options targeted specifically to your needs.
To meet Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) needs, we create SCORM (Shareable Courseware Object Reference Model) compliant programs that can run on the client server and interface with the specified Learning Management System (LMS). To ensure our programs meet the latest ADL Co-Lab requirements, we use the latest SCORM coding specifications and validate course compliance using the ADL SCORM Conformance (Self-Test) Test Suite.
Our Team of professionals has consistently demonstrated the ability to adjust and adapt to rapidly changing training requirements and to produce quality training products, which reflect the most up-to-date information available.
