RAPID™ Mobile Surveillance System
Remote Automated Portable Intrusion Detection (RAPID™)

The RAPID™ Advantage — Detection, Assessment, and Communications.
Effective and efficient protection of personnel and resources within a defined area is a critical objective for both civilian and military organizations. The RAPID system is a cost-effective, mobile, and highly capable solution for wide area intrusion detection. The universal radar mounting platform supports multiple sensor types capable of monitoring activity on areas such as military bases, airfields, ports, power plants and critical infrastructure.
Trailer mounted system designed to employ ground-based radar systems and integrated with cameras.
Interfaces with radar to autonomously detect movement in a 360º radius at various ranges
Thermal infrared cameras allow day/night surveillance
Self-contained power system includes solar and generator
Integrates with government furnished, third-party, and other custom equipment

SYSTEM FEATURES
Detection
The RAPID system's fully integrated sensor and communications suite maximizes
surveillance capabilities in the area of interest
• Ranges determined by class of radar
• short range up to 700 meters
• medium range up to 2800 meters
• long range up to 42 kilometers
• The radar can be mounted on a platform or on a telescoping mast
• The system can be monitored and controlled locally or remotely
Assessment
CCTV and Thermal cameras are sized to match short, medium, and long range radar capabilities
• Day/night all-weather condition assessment, operational temperature range from -30 to 60° C (-22 to 140° F)
• Autotrack feature autonomously pans camera to intruder detection angle
• Manual pan/tilt/zoom camera selection from control station
Communications
The latest in high bandwidth secure meshing technologies allows RAPID to:
• Use Auto discovery, which enables the RAPID to automatically connect to other RAPID systems and network devices
• Form a self-healing, self-forming ad-hoc network with full end-to-end encryption*
• Stream voice, video images, and data in low bandwidth environments
• Exchange data between command and control center from up to 2 miles line of sight
*The RAPID wireless mesh network meets DOD encryption criteria including FIPS 140-2 and Type 1 SecNet 11 for secure connectivity
