Expendable Unattended Ground Sensor (E-UGS)
The E-UGS system offers dramatic improvement over existing UGS systems. The performance is outstanding and the low cost makes the sensors expendable. The unprecedented long range RF link provides wide area coverage from a single monitoring station without bulky amplifiers or repeaters. Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS)
For larger facilities, ARA’s Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) provides wide area intrusion detection, assessment and communications for state-of-the-art protection of resources, personnel, and critical infrastructure. IBDSS is scalable to provide all-weather, day/night wide area intrusion detection and immediate visual assessment, integrating ARA-recommended or user specified intrusion detections systems such as: ground based radars; mobile, deployable detection capability such as RAPID™; unattended ground sensors such as the Expendable Unattended Ground Sensor (EUGS) radios; buried leaky coaxial system such as OmniTrax; Fiber Optic Intrusion Detection System (FOIDS); video motion detection; and existing legacy systems. IBDSS can operate as a standalone system or can be integrated with existing annunciators such as Vindicator, Advantor, or Diebold. IBDSS integrates the detection and assessment capabilities to provide a real-time, complete operational picture for the response force coordinators, additional/higher level command centers, and response vehicles. IBDSS combines the latest in detection and assessment technology using FIPS 140-2 validated components that can be Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) certified to connect directly to the Global Information Grid (GIG) or installation network. In addition, IBDSS is IPv6 capable and integrates secure wireless and broadband communications which can reduce infrastructure costs. Modular Robotic Control System (MRCS)
The Modular Robotic Control System (MRCS) converts commercial tracked or wheeled construction vehicles to tele-operated control, allowing the customer to select the platform that best fits the application and budget. From a 3,000 pound ASV RC-30 Skid Steer to a 25,000 pound Caterpillar 924G Wheel Loader, MRCS allows the customer to select the platform best suited for the job. More Information
Networked Advanced Vehicle Anti-Tamper & Alert (NAVATA)
The NAVATA system is a detect and alert system that is designed to protect a fleet of vehicles parked at a motor pool facility. Using wireless mesh networking, the NAVATA system provides quick alerts to the user via the custom monitoring interface. The mesh network allows the vehicles to constantly be monitored while moving in and out of several different motor pool areas within a given facility. Nighthawk Micro Air Vehicle (MAV)
The Nighthawk is a rugged, simple, and affordable UAV system that allows an operator with minimal training to conduct intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Constructed of carbon fiber, a robust, yet flexible material, Nighthawk air vehicles are stored fully assembled and ready to launch in 6" diameter tubes attached to an assault pack. The outer pockets of the assault pack hold a rugged laptop computer, the ground control station and antenna assembly, leaving the large inner compartment of the pack for other required gear. Pointman Small Unmanned Ground Vehicle (SUGV)
Pointman is a compact, lightweight and highly agile tactical robot that provides reconnaissance and surveillance of facilities and vehicles from a safe standoff distance. Its self-righting and stair climbing capabilities allow it to be dropped through a window or tossed through a door to conduct recon activities on multi-story structures and its compact footprint is ideal for operating in confined spaces. Pointman is equipped with daylight and IR cameras as well as visible and IR illuminators to ensure quality video regardless of the ambient light conditions. A video output jack provides streaming video to an optional video storage device or monitor. Pointman has been tested and is recommended by the National Tactical Officers Association. The VIPR system is a portable, rapidly deployable security system for monitoring temporary facilities and vehicles. The system provides persistent surveillance and situational awareness in both indoor and outdoor environments. The VIPR system provides intrusion detection for the surrounding facility and vehicles through the use of multiple sensor types and cameras.
