Micro Air Vehicle Test Range

ARA has two sites available for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) flight testing. One secluded, 600-acre private site in Freeport, FL provides an RF interference-free, open area for flight tests ranging up to 5 km. It is controlled to keep out unauthorized individuals. The site is used for testing and evaluation of our UAV systems.

An alternate government test site is an auxiliary airfield on Eglin Air Force Base. Again, this site offers controlled access and an RF interference-free environment.
