Employee Assistance Program

ARA ARA provides an Employee Assistance Program, titled LifeBalanceŽ. Under the LifeBalanceŽ program employees may call a toll free number, 1-800-854-1446, and receive assistance with routine problems of daily living or serious problems like separation and substance addiction. For serious problems employees have access to three face-to-face consultations per year with a certified counselor. The service may also be accessed on the world wide web at www.lifeworks.com by typing in the word "Lifebalance" as both the user ID and password.

Survivor Support services are provided to help the employee or their family with financial planning advice after a disabling or fatal injury to the employee.

A traveler’s assistance package, assist americaŽ, provides employees and their dependents assistance in locating western-trained, English-speaking doctors anywhere in the world. The service will pre-arrange admittance to the facility and coordinate any needed airlift for the employee, their spouse, or dependents. The service will also make arrangements for medical evacuation back to the United States when, and if, necessary. The service can also help with more common issues such as lost baggage, language assistance, and legal referrals.
