The customer needed a new device to aid in defeating various explosive devices and their associated components. ARA, along with representatives, designed and demonstrated a set of scalable disrupter tools that met an exacting set of requirements.

Objectives:

• Scalable size

• Both axisymmetric and linear or planar geometries

• Novel working fluids as alternatives to water

• Tools must be fully characterized
