ARA has over a decade of experience in
designing, building, and supporting medium to large UGVs on a
variety of platforms. The backbone of ARA’s medium to large UGVs is
the Modular Robotic Control System (MRCS) which allows users to
select the platform appropriate to the task. These platforms support
the use of a variety of attachments including brushcutters, buckets,
and backhoes, as well as robotic arms and mine detection and
clearance systems. Our Fiber-optic Communication and Control System
(FCCS) provides tethered operations in radio-denied or restricted
areas. ARA's Universal Operator Control System (UOCS) is a
lightweight, JAUS compatible control console capable of RF and
fiber-optic communication.
