Space Analysis Tool Kit 2

Problem Statement and Objectives

The Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) needed follow-on technical support for the development, implementation, and operation of their Space Analysis Division’s modeling and simulation program.

ARA, with the help of teammate SPARTA, created the SATK database for AFSPC's Space Analysis Division.

 
Objectives:
  • •Strategic modeling and simulation planning
  • •Development and implementation of the Space Analysis Toolkit (SATK) Database
  • •Completion and application of a model acceptance process to instantiate the SATK
  • •Management and evolution of the SATK
  • •Application of SATK tools for analysis and training
  • •Modeling and simulation technical support.

Results and Benefits

The database houses information about models and simulations capable of providing space analysis. The SATK database is web-based for ease of use, and dynamically adjusts to each user’s level of permission.
