The military needed help proving the concept demonstration of a design and analysis system that simulates the effects of buried mines and above ground ordnance on military vehicles.

Results and Benefits

ARA provided proof of concept demonstration for a computer software system that simulated effects of buried mines and above ground ordinance, such as roadside bombs on military vehicles. By enabling rapid simulations of many threat scenarios, the proposed software speeds the safer design of new vehicles at reduced cost.
