Arlington, TX - Asset Management System Implementation

Problem Statement and Objectives

The city of Arlington, Texas needed a new arrangement for implementing an asset management system for their street network. ARA offered their services to the project.

Objectives:

  • Collect pavement surface and right-of-way images on 1,546 survey miles in the Arlington street system

  • Automated asset data collection

  • Pavement/asset image analysis

  • PavementView database population

  • PavementView Plus implementation

  • SignView implementation

  • Software installation/training

  

ARA's Digital Survey Vehicle (DSV) collected asset management data on more than 1,500
miles of Arlington roads.
