ARA creates effective, high
quality, state-of-the-art education and training products and
services that meet client requirements, both government and
commercial. Our professional staff has instructional design and
management experience, including behavioral scientists to ensure
our training programs effectively build skills through
simulated 'experiences' that have the feel of reality. ARA
provides a unique kind of training support, with Recognition
Training and Cognitive Task Analysis
(CTA) methods. Our
approach shortens the time required for users to experience and
become proficient at critical elements of the task or mission.
ARA has the in-house resources
to produce complete training packages. These include a full
service, broadcast-quality multimedia pre-production, production,
and post-production facility with the capabilities to capture
high-quality digital video, create computer generated 2 and 3-D
graphics, edit nonlinear digital video and audio, and create master
CD-ROMs and DVDs. We have produced 65 web- and computer-based
training programs and 80 videos to support a wide range of
training requirements.

- Applied Research Associates,
Inc. (ARA) used Delta3D to develop the prototype Nemesis
game-based-learning application, with an objective to train
operators in the decision-making and psycho-motor skills required
for humanitarian demining. The project is based on the Nemesis
Advanced Demining System sponsored by the US Army Humanitarian
Demining Program.
