Modeling and Simulation

ARA develops and executes models and simulation software from the campaign and force-on-force level of detail down to the individual warfighter level of detail. We develop very detailed models including individual agents, vehicles, equipment, and facilities. Our simulations model adaptive behavior of forces and the physics of damage caused by weapons effects to facilities and humans, achieving a very high level of realism. Our ability to rapidly generate physics-based "responding" terrain for simulations makes the modeling of target damage a practical reality.

We use M&S for applications ranging from trade studies, analysis of alternatives, weapon system design, operational planning, targeting, design of protective structures, design of protective equipment and training simulators.
