2010 FAA Worldwide Airport Technology Transfer Conference
April 20-22, 2010, Atlantic City, NJ
ARA staff will attend this international conference which will explore the development of technology and its applications for airports while providing a unique opportunity for both the aviation industry and the research community to interact and exchange information that ensures safe and more efficient airport operations.
 The conference will cover a broad range of technology areas for airports. In addition, the conference will showcase the FAA National Airport Pavement Test Facility, which was built in a partnership between FAA and the Boeing Company, and is now in its tenth year of operation.

2010 Nevada Transportation Conference
March 23rd & 24th, 2010, Las Vegas, NV
This two day seminar will focus on the many transportation issues that affect the state of Nevada and its communities. Speakers will give presentations on roadway design and maintenance, rail and transit issues, pedestrian, bicycle and traffic safety, technology, funding, and other timely topics. The event is open to all public and private sector engineers, architects, planners, and specialists in the many transportation industries. IAPA ANNUAL MEETING
March 8-9, 2010, Springfield, IL
The Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association hosts its annual meeting as a gathering of stakeholders in the asphalt industry of Illinois.  These stakeholders include producers, suppliers, agencies, elected officials, consultants, and researchers.   There are two general sessions at this meeting, one focused on technical issues and innovation and the other on government agency updates and funding outlooks.

I/ITSEC 2009 Conference
November 30 thru December 3, 2009, Orlando, FL
ARA will be exhibiting at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference for the 9th consecutive year. I/ITSEC is held yearly in Orlando, FL at the Orange County Convention Center. The conference dates are November 30 – Dec 3. Come visit us at booth 509.

OHMPA Fall Asphalt Seminar

ARA employees will be attending the Ontario Hot Mix Producers Association (OHMPA) fall seminar.  OHMPA is a professional association of hot mix producers, municipal and provincial engineers, public works, and road professionals across the Province of Ontario who join together to exchange ideas on matters involving the production, distribution and sales of hot mix asphalt products.  The seminar aims to promote engineering technology, best maintenance practices, sustainability and professional development.
