ARA Again Tops List of Fastest Growing Companies in New Mexico
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — For the third consecutive year, Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) has topped the list of the New Mexico Technology Flying 40. Each year, the list recognizes the 40 fastest-growing technology companies headquartered in New Mexico. The selection criteria are based on revenue and revenue growth.
In addition to the annual list, the New Mexico Technology Flying 40 also holds an awards luncheon. Each year, the event is an opportunity to showcase progress and growth of local technology companies that may not be well known to the public. This year’s event was held at Albuquerque Isotopes Baseball Park on June 17.
Celebrating its 12th year, the New Mexico Technology Flying 40 recognizes companies in three categories — the top revenue growth companies with revenues between $1 and $10 million, the top revenue growth companies with revenues of more than $10 million, and the top revenue-producing technology companies regardless of revenue growth. ARA toped this year’s list as revenue producer, earning of more than $196 million in 2008. This year the company celebrated 30 years of corporate growth and success.
